BIO

Daniela Rakos is a Chilean conservation filmmaker, producer, and underwater cinematographer specializing in documentary storytelling focused on human relationships with nature.

Her work spans environmental documentaries, expedition filmmaking, and underwater cinematography, with projects developed across Chile, South Africa, Australia, and Southeast Asia. With a strong background in directing, cinematography, and editing, she works across remote and challenging environments, from coral reefs to mountain regions.

Daniela is a two-time National Geographic Society grantee and a fellow of Santiago Wild, NEWF and Jackson Wild. She is currently developing documentary projects focused on conservation and community-led environmental stories.
